"Fierce healing with a warm embrace."
Therapy, Consulting, Design, & Organization for Your Mental Health. Cultivating Clarity & Well-Being.
Inspired by Artemis—the fierce guardian of the night and protector of the vulnerable—and the hearth, a symbol of warmth and sanctuary, I offer a sacred space where strength meets safety. Here, your stories are honored, your voice is empowered, and authenticity is welcomed. This is a place for fierce healing and a warm embrace, where you can untangle old narratives, reclaim your power, and come home to your truest self.
Healing Your Mind & Environment
A Note On Services:
I serve individuals and organizations who value intersectional, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and thoughtful approaches to wellness. My practice is rooted in inclusivity and belonging—I welcome all identities and do not tolerate bigotry, discrimination, or dehumanization in any form.
-
Psychotherapy, often called "talk therapy," is a process where you and a therapist work together to understand and navigate life's challenges. It's a safe space to explore difficult feelings, heal from past experiences, and develop the tools you need to live a more fulfilling life.
-
Therapeutic design is the purposeful arrangement of physical spaces to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It's a strategic approach that uses elements like color, light, acoustics, and furniture to create an environment that reduces stress, improves focus, and fosters a sense of calm and safety.
-
This approach goes a step further. We will address the physical spaces that impact your well-being. By mindfully organizing and decluttering your home, office or other space, we can create a sense of control and calm that empowers you both inside and out. It's a holistic approach to wellness, where organizing your space becomes a powerful tool for healing and finding peace of mind.
Holly Young, MA, LCMHC
Hi, I’m Holly (she/her)! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) based in Asheville, NC. My practice is grounded in inclusivity, intersectionality, and social justice. I support adults navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma, women’s issues, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Drawing on my background in Sociology and Anthropology, I approach mental health with an understanding of how culture, systems, and lived experience shape our well-being.
I am deeply committed to creating a compassionate, affirming, and empowering space for all, especially those who have been marginalized. I also offer consulting on a few different topics, including therapeutic design , helping people build environments that nurture calm, clarity, and resilience.
